This study, through a review of scientific literature and analysis of local data, examines the impact of bipolar disorder on academic functioning and social interactions of students at Islamic Azad University of Sanandaj during the 1404–1405 academic year. Findings indicate that mood fluctuations, concentration difficulties, and cognitive deficits lead to reduced focus, decreased motivation, frequent absences, lower grades, and, in some cases, early withdrawal from studies. During manic episodes, excessive activity and disorganization in studying can further impair academic performance. Additionally, mood instability, impulsive behaviors, and cognitive challenges negatively affect social relationships, increase interpersonal tension, and contribute to social isolation. Local data and university reports also highlight a lack of sufficient counseling services and educational support. These results underscore the necessity of developing psychological services, educational interventions, and social skills enhancement programs to improve both the academic achievement and social well-being of students living with bipolar disorder. چکیده اختلال دوقطبی (Bipolar Disorder) یکی از اختلالات خلقی شدید و مزمن است که با نوسانات خلقی بین شیدایی و افسردگی و اختلالات شناختی مشخص می‌شود و می‌تواند تأثیر قابل توجهی بر زندگی تحصیلی و اجتماعی افراد داشته باشد. پژوهش حاضر با مرور منابع علمی و تحلیل داده‌های محلی به بررسی اثرات این اختلال بر عملکرد تحصیلی و تعاملات اجتماعی دانشجویان دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد سنندج در سال تحصیلی ۱۴۰۴-۱۴۰۵ می‌پردازد. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که نوسانات خلقی، مشکلات تمرکز و اختلالات شناختی موجب کاهش تمرکز، افت انگیزه، غیبت‌های مکرر، کاهش معدل و در مواردی ترک تحصیل می‌شوند. در دوره‌های شیدایی، فعالیت بیش‌ازحد و عدم سازمان‌دهی در مطالعه نیز می‌تواند عملکرد تحصیلی را کاهش دهد. علاوه بر این، تغییرات خلقی، رفتارهای تکانشی و مشکلات شناختی باعث کاهش کیفیت روابط اجتماعی، افزایش تنش در تعاملات و انزوای اجتماعی دانشجویان می‌شود. داده‌های محلی و گزارش‌های دانشگاهی نیز بر کمبود خدمات مشاوره‌ای و حمایت‌های آموزشی کافی تأکید دارند. این نتایج ضرورت توسعه خدمات روان‌شناختی، مداخلات آموزشی و برنامه‌های تقویت مهارت‌های اجتماعی برای بهبود عملکرد تحصیلی و کیفیت روابط اجتماعی دانشجویان مبتلا به اختلال دوقطبی را برجسته می‌سازد. /downloadfilepdf/1305663
