The research employed a descriptive‑correlational design. The statistical population included all middle school students in Gonbad‑e Kavous city during the academic year 2021–2022. A sample of 514 students (302 girls and 212 boys) was selected through a multistage cluster sampling method. Data were collected using the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ‑28), the General Self‑Efficacy Scale (GSE), and Wells’s Metacognition Questionnaire (MCQ‑30). The results showed a significant negative correlation between dysfunctional metacognitive beliefs and mental health (r = −0.299), and a significant positive correlation between self‑efficacy and mental health (r = 0.228). These findings highlight the importance of promoting positive metacognitive skills and self‑efficacy beliefs to enhance students’ mental well‑being. هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی نقش باورهای فراشناختی و سطح خودکارآمدی در پیش‌بینی سلامت روان دانش‌آموزان مقطع بتدایی است. این مطالعه از نوع توصیفی–همبستگی بوده و جامعه آماری شامل کلیه دانش‌آموزان مدارس ابتدایی شهرستان بابلسر در سال تحصیلی ۱۴۰۰–۱۴۰۱ بود. نمونه‌ای به حجم ۵۱۴ نفر (۳۰۲ دختر و ۲۱۲ پسر) به روش خوشه‌ای چندمرحله‌ای انتخاب شد. ابزارهای گردآوری داده‌ها شامل پرسشنامه سلامت عمومی (GHQ-28)، مقیاس خودکارآمدی عمومی (GSE) و پرسشنامه فراشناخت ولز (MCQ-30) بود. نتایج تحلیل آماری نشان داد بین باورهای منفی فراشناختی و سلامت روان رابطه منفی و معنادار و بین خودکارآمدی و سلامت روان رابطه مثبت معناداری وجود دارد. یافته‌ها بر اهمیت تقویت مهارت‌های شناختی و باورهای مثبت دانش‌آموزان در ارتقای سلامت روان تأکید می‌کند. https://sepjr.ir/downloadfilepdf/1861629
